Notable Areas to Visit:
There are three main notable areas to visit in the Grand Canyon National Park: North Rim, South Rim, and the Grand Canyon West. According to some reliable source, the South Rim is open throughout the year. It is in fact the most visited spot among the three.
The North Rim is close to the Zion National Park and the Bryce Canyon. However, the North Rim is only open from the middle of May to the middle of October. It is not quite as visited by tourists as compared to the South Rim.
The Grand Canyon West features the very popular horseshoe shape glass bridge which is known as the Skywalk being its main attraction.
Getting to see the Grand Canyon is not the only way to experience the place. Grand Canyon tours are available. Hotels are also present in certain places for your convenience. Some people do set up camp in certain designated places. And there are others who may choose the option to fly over the scenery with rented helicopters.
